Since so many of you have asked I just wanted to post my absolute favorite part of the entire Dead show last Saturday evening. Check out this crazy tribal/jungle/thunderstorm drum sequence...
Honestly, as many of you know, my heart was in the desert that night. While I liked parts of the show I definitely didn't dig it as much as Farilla. That said, I believe Farilla and his brother, Matt, enjoyed the show immensely! And quite frankly, that's what mattered to me the most. Although, I did love all of the people-watching. Lots of old Dead Heads getting high for the first time in ages...hmmm, a strange trip indeed!

Music: The Dead - Friend Of The Devil
Hmm, does anyone else find The View to be an odd choice of venues for The Dead? I guess Jerry's death really did mark the end of an era! Regardless, Farilla and I will be getting our hippie-shake on at their local show this May! I'm just going for the free grilled cheese sammiches...so you can pick your jaw up off the floor now.
