Our first Ikea hack! I came up with this simple wardrobe solution for the lack of closet space in our home. Plus I found the perfect Moon Phase fabric by designer Lizzy House to go with our Outer Space/rockets & robots nursery theme.
What we used:
1 - Ikea Hemnes Bookcase
4 - Synergy Center Closet Rod Supports
2 - 33 1/2" x 1 1/4" Wood Dowels (from the hardware store)
1 - 28"- 48" White Tension Rod (to hold the curtain)
2 1/4 yards - Lizzie House Moon Phase fabric in Teal

...our new Bloodgood Japanese Maple! I've been coveting a potted Japanese Maple for years but have been stalling due to the price. We ran across this lovely little guy at Armstrong's Garden Center for a mere $35! A fraction of the price I normally find. Welcome to our garden little fella!

My super rad long-time (like 20 years!) friend, Amy, gifted our little Dude this custom soft/quiet book filled with photos (printed on fabric) from our last Burn. I'm 5 weeks pregnant in that photo. What an absolute treasure! Created by aeiLOVEu on Etsy.

What's more romantic than chemistry in the language of love?! Nothing, if you ask me. My beautifully handmade bday gift finally arrived. Thanks, Love, for filling our home with even more inspiring art. Check out the video below to see how this lovely creation came together.

A year and a half later and we're finally putting our Woolly Pockets (gifts from our wedding registry) to good use! I hope our freshly planted winter greens thrive in their new vertical home!

We're expecting! That's why things have been pretty quiet around here lately. Growing a baby is hard work and this is one tired but thrilled mama-to-be.
