Last night the lovely ladies of the Slice threw a surprise 50th birthday dinner & party for Kheddarz. The gift(s) they had made for him are absolutely gorgeous and will make their debut adorning The Tower on the Playa this summer. Lauren picked up this delish lemon cake and Sandra constructed the mini Tower topper. Brava, Ladies! And Happy Birthday, Krz. It's like the celebration never ends!

Life: Dude Looked Like A Lady...

Yesterday I went over to the Red House to wash my little Zoom Zoom.  While out back in the alley I encountered quite a few old neighbors as well as some new ones.  Towards the end of Zoomer's deluxe spa treatment (washing its rims) I saw a woman approaching from the east end of the alley.  This conversation ensued...

Me: Hi!

Her (in a deep gravely male voice): Hello

Her (who was actually a Him): There's nothing hotter than a woman washing a car.

Me (laughing and trying to hide my look of surprise): Have a Good Day!

After I was done washing Z(squared) I went into the backyard of the Red House and told G about my encounter:

Me: Some Dude just came by and told me that there's nothing hotter than a woman washing her car.

G: Who was he?

Me: I don't know.  He was wearing a dress and turban.

G: (laughing...*at me*!)

Me: I think he was homeless...or a Burner.

G: You should have told him that there's nothing hotter than a man who can pull off a dress.

Despite the darkness @ The Other Room I was able to snap a few pics to document the celebration of the G's 49th twirl around the sun.  Thank goodness for Burners...someone ALWAYS has a flashlight (or two) on hand!

Yep, it's G's Birfday today!  w00t!!!

Happy 49th twirl around the most glorious Star in our solar system, Old Man!!!  It's been requested, by The Man Himself, that I DO NOT use his likeness on my blog (Boy, fame REALLY does go to some people's heads!) so instead I've chosen to let the 8th Wonder of the World (The Tower) as well the First Wonder in G's World (The Monster) reprezent!  It, seriously, seems like yesterday that you were turning 40 years young...where does the time go?!  

Can't wait until tonight to get my drink on with you, my friend!  And I can't wait to see the look on your face when you open the gift (link to follow) I found to commemorate such a momentous occasion!
