Eleven years and four days ago I was trying to convince a very anxious 10yo that we were perfectly safe as we stood on top of the South Tower observation deck overlooking NYC. Interestingly, I just stumbled across my ticket stubs a few days ago.
No one will ever forget what took place 4 days later on that very same spot.
