Adi, a longtime friend and fellow Slicer just ran across this lovely photo of Shutterillaville (aka The Hut) taken by our BRC neighbor ninjaonmoss. As you can probably tell this was shot pre-event opening. Farilla and I went out early again this year with Ops and Otter to work with Greeters. I love getting into the city early and watching it grow. We heard the population was only around 43,000 this year. Down from about 53,000 in 2008. Going out before the event opens allows you to meet so many more people which in-turn makes the city not seem so large. I really enjoyed riding around during burn week and bumping into people we'd met/greeted during the early days. For a larger view of this image click here.

I'm grateful that my friends know my door is always open. Ly and Brian were in the hood and decided to stop by to introduce me to their beautiful son Brenden. He's a little bundle of deliciousness. I can't wait to schedule a REAL playdate with the Jarrard clan very soon. Thanks, guys, for stopping in to say hello! And congrats, again!

I've started a new Set in my Flickr account which will be dedicated to Court/Courtney/C/See signs. I see them fairly often...for instance, there's a Court Street in Echo Park and Court Street in Hoboken, NJ. So if you run across a sign with any of the above noted variations of my name be sure to pull out your cell and snap a pic. Then send it to me so we can watch the collection grow! All I ask is that you note where the photo was taken! I'll gleefully post all new submissions in their very own blog!

Joss was one of a kind.
Despite all of his 'Alpha' faults I miss him madly.
He was my Boy!
